I Made It!!

Well 12 hours after departing from skyharbor airport, I finally made it to NewYork. (It was a 6 hour flight, but with lay overs and whatnot it took us (older brother and parents) twice as long. We stopped by my grandpa's house in Morris Plains, then came back to the hotel to sleep for an hour or so. Then we went back to my grandpa's house to pick him up, then continued to a resturant. Today, we took the train to New York Pen-station, with brings you right up next to Madison Square Garden. We walked up and down 7th Ave, and Broadway, and eventually made it to Central Park, where I guess I look like locals, since I kept getting stopped and people ask me for directions. Little did they know I was just as lost as them. (ohoho)
After Central Park, we did the whole skyride thing in the Empire State building. We then took the subway to the stop just past the Trade Center site. We had to back track a bit to get to ground zero, but that was only because the stop we needed to get off at was closed and underconstruction. (gah! darn construction!!!) After the trade center (there wasn't much to see really) we went to Canel Rd where we visited China Town and Little Italy. Since Italia won against the Frenchies there was a massive party going on. I mean MASSIVE!!! Everyone was screaming and honking their horns and wearing italian colors and had their faces painted, ect. So that was day 2. I'll check in later tomarrow. Goodnight!

Well, I'm currently involved with an art trade with paperwings (sp?) over at DA. I figured I might as well get working on it and what better time than all tose hours spent on the plane. (which by the way I didn't work on it.) I can't even remember what I had asked for in return... oh well, what ever she draws me, I know I'm going to love it. Its been awhile since I've done a trade with a really good artist. I'm so excited! XD Well thats all for now. Chow!
